Shortly after obtaining my BA in Translation and Interpreting in Universidad Pablo de Olavide in 2012, I started with my first assignments. Since then, I have been constantly improving my educational background to keep up to date in the various skills necessary to perform quality work. Thanks to this, I can use with ease the main CAT tools, such as Trados, memoQ, Passolo, Phrase, Smartling or SmartCAT, and I have been able to experience a constant and progressive growth.
My work is based on four pillars: quality, flexibility, adherence to deadlines and respect for privacy. Firstly, in order to achieve a quality result, it is of course necessary to be well trained in the source languages, but also to know where the relevant documentation can be found and have a perfect command of the target language, in this case Spanish. Furthermore, I believe that a good translator must be flexible, which means that the professional must accommodate to the multiple requirements of the client and the different CAT tools. Of course, an honest professional must also be able to meet the deadlines agreed upon before the start of the project. And finally yet importantly, it is essential to safeguard the privacy of the translated content, as we could cause serious problems to all parties involved in the event of a leak.
In terms of specializations, I have focused my career on fields such as Engineering, Software Localization, Tourism, Veterinary and Medicine, having completed a Master's Degree in Medical Translation and different pathways related to Healthcare Translation, among others.
My greatest achievement in all these years of professional career is the satisfaction of my clients, to whom I am enormously grateful for the trust they place in me and for allowing me to develop a rewarding career in which I never stops learning.
